This was fairly interesting. I read it at the suggestion of my boyfriend, but I hadn't read the first volume. I think it was okay, but I didn't love it. I am not really sure why, but it could be because it didn't really focus on anything more than Wonder Woman and what'shisname. I don't know if the writer has read any of the New 52 Wonder Woman, but I wish DC would keep her consistent. The current Wonder Woman is way awesome and I feel the one depicted here is just so lame in comparison.

Also needs more Flash. Needs more Green Lantern and Flash bromance... They should just have them in their own series, really.

First time read review: Darker than the first graphic novel, I liked the spirit stuff and the build up.

Reread review: Rereading this now that I'm reading the other New 52 titles. It's gotta be hard to find villains that can face the entire Justice League and have a chance at beating them. I think Johns did a great job creating one and I loved his villainous origin.

Holy crap! I found a “New 52” title that was more than just mediocre. Everything from the writing to the art was amazing about this book. Geoff Johns, who is a veteran writer of so many great DC characters/titles, does a superb job with not only the plot but making the interpersonal relationships between the League members relatable. I truly couldn’t stop reading. I can’t go on enough about Jim Lee’s artwork, but he’s a hero of mine.

This wasn't as fun as the first volume because there was less interplay between characters. But it's still amusing to watch Batman and Green Lantern go at it. The villain himself isn't all that intriguing though his powers are.Johns is setting up Cyborg to be one of the most interesting heroes which is a great twist for the character. There is less Lee which is never good, but Williams fills in admirably.
