This book was genuinely a joy to read. It dealt with very serious issues and there were certainly some sad moments, but I just couldn’t help but fall in love with the characters and feel excited to see where they ended up.

i don’t know how to properly rate this. on the one hand i’m so glad for the accurate muslim rep and what it stands for, but on the other, the characters felt so flat and i lacked any connection with them.
