Man, how can you not love Ahsoka Tano? In my opinion she is by far one of the best Star Wars character and the more material on her just keeps proving that.
I really enjoyed this novel, it was fast paced and an easy read. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants more on Ahsoka Tano or just more on Star Wars in general.

As a long-time fan of the animated series The Clone Wars and an even bigger fan of Ahsoka, i can say with certainty this is my favorite Star Wars book ever written. The way Johnston writes her character is so true to the Ahsoka we all know and love, and I am so glad that Johnston did her justice. The story itself is the perfect bridge between Ahsoka's final episodes in The Clone Wars, what happened during the Siege of Mandalore, and her return in Rebels. There is a perfect balance between Ahsoka dealing with her grief at the loss of her friends and the Jedi Order and her then beginning to understand what her new role in the galaxy is. It's a journey of discovery for her, and it was written beautifully. It reads like a second Clone Wars movie that was never made, with all the heart-pounding, non-stop adventure I've come to expect and love when Ashoka is involved. Ahsoka Tano is a character very dear to my heart, and this is a book I know I'll be rereading for years to come thanks to E.K. Johnston's magical storytelling.
I loved getting a behind the scenes of #ahsoka and her storyline between disappearing in the clone wars aka faked death and her reimergence into the fight
I didn’t have a problem with the story and despite changing POV a couple of times the other characters were just as believable
I’m also very happy that we got to see more than one world or place in the universe as opposed to staying on one planet.
The pacing was well done, nothing was overly slow or super fast.
I wasn’t expecting the surprise at the end, then again I’m not perhaps as well verse in the lore because I didn’t watch the animated series
My only negative was
-0.5 for setting descriptions being lacking. You didn’t get a sense of place sometimes just what they were doing and simple setting descriptions. I would have liked to be more immersed in the world.

❤️❤️❤️ I love Ahsoka! A nice tie in from the clone wars and rebels
Easily one of my favorite books of the year. Ahsoka picks up shortly after the events of Order 66 and we learn what happened to her after she left the Jedi Order at the end of the Clone Wars. Highly recommend it!
I’m a big Ahsoka fan and I love how this book expanded on her story and added even more depth to her character.
I loved it. Ahsoka's story line is one of my favorite in the Star Wars universe. This expansion on it is fantastic.
This did not connect with me at all. Which stinks because I thought Ahsoka was awesome in Clone Wars. I heard great things about this book, so I was excited.
I'm a casual Star Wars fan. I love the movies and I read the occasional book and comic book collection. I watched Clone Wars, but haven't seen Rebels.
Maybe this would have been better if I watched that?
I read another book by this author and I gave it 3 stars. But I can't remember it at all. But all the ones by Claudia Gray, I loved!
I don't want to just compare authors, but it's just that this I've doesn't seem to click with me.
It was tough for me to finish. I almost didn't. The whole story was just bland. Ahsoka was boring in it. So, I don't know. I hope you like it. I was just bored the whole time.

Really enjoyed the peak into a belonged character. As one who saw A New Hope in the theatres, the glimpses of the building of the resistance was a welcome element. Minor characters we love from TOT pop in to shape the Galaxy we fell in love with as children. Fun read.
