Fantastic book, other than the fact that it took Alex and Molly almost the entire book to realize that they were in love

I liked this book, it was really fun and the whole thing was really entertaining to read.
I wasn't really a fan of the fact that Molly spent the ENTIRE book fawning over Cora just to reject her when she realized she liked Alex, but it's not the most unrealistic thing and I know feelings are confusing so it honestly wasn't that annoying.

I liked the story and the sort of I'll-do-yours-if-you-do-mine thing that was going on, and I'm happy with who everyone ended up with. I did like that while it was a generally fun book there were parts of it that took a darker/ more realistic side and I really enjoyed that.
Overall it was very good and I liked it :)

Absolutely adorable lesbian fiction suitable for an older teen auidence.

This was slow to start. I restarted this twice and forced myself past the first few chapters before I found it interesting enough to keep going.

It has kind of a predictable storyline, and some characterisation - especially Alex - is very much something one could consider "stereotypical wattpad", that aside it was actually a really cute story.

I dont know if it is mentioned earlier than when I found it, but I didn't realise Molly was Korean until about half way through the book... which I feel is a really big let down in terms of her character.

It was really cute, and has a sweet message about being yourself and not forcing love. Definitely worth picking up if you want a ya lesbian rom-com.

I just finished it and all I have to say is that I love this book.
Are there flaws? Sure
But am I willing to completely and utterly ignore them? Hell yes
I don't care what anyone says, but this was so cute and fluffy and exactly what I needed right now.

This was such a cute read! I loved this so much, both Alex and Molly are great and love their personalities. I really love the "love guru" type trope where they start off going after different people but ultimately fall in love. I'm taking off a tiny bit of the full 5 stars because certain parts wrapped up too easily but overall I didn't care. I would love a sequel honestly or even a spinoff involving Cara.

Relaxing book to listen to, not frustrating like many love novels can be. Well written

I was so excited to read this book after seeing the lovely cover, and it was everything I had hoped it would be (and more)! Never in my life have I flown through a book so quickly, while wanting to savor every last minute.
She Gets the Girl follows Alex and Molly as they embark on a dating scheme to end all dating schemes. Both of them have their heart set on another girl, but maybe just maybe they’ll find themselves falling for each other in the process (You’ll have to read to find out).
One of the many things I love about this novel is the popular tropes which are intertwined into the plot and then promptly flipped on their heads. For example, fake dating elements are included into Alex’s five step plan, but are not as traditionally executed as in the typical format. This made the story feel so much more fleshed out and real, while still preserving the cheesy and predictable moments I know and love. The charecters are another aspect of the novel which really shine through, and even if I wouldn’t act in the exact same manner, I understood , sympathized, and loved them all the same. This paired with the college campus environment created a unique and special YA romance.
Overall, I would highly highly recommend checking out for your next read (check trigger warnings of course)
