While the general arc of this mystery is predictable, there were certainly a few surprises for me along the way. And despite knowing where this mystery would end, I tore through this book in a matter of days (which is fast for me.) I don’t think I’ll re read this one, but I’m glad I picked up another book by Jesse Q. Sutanto and will certainly do so again in the future.

I wish I’d read this one before The Obsession since that would’ve been chronologically correct. I always feel discombobulated when reading or watching series out of sequence. But there really isn’t much connection between the two books either, other than one character who spends most of the story off script. So it shouldn’t have bothered me so much other than these events of The Obsession lost some of the logic for me. Also, ask the characters were dispicable and disposable.
