Reading this book is such a unique experience; it feels so raw and personal and real.
I don't regret reading it, and there were definitely parts I loved. However, the further I got into it, the less worth it it felt. I'm not sure if I'd recommend it to someone unless they're exactly the right kind of person who needs it.

Wow.
I don’t really have words, but I think Ashley has them and that’s okay.
She’s keeping them safe.

Such a raw and moving book exploring mental illness, trauma, growing up, finding oneself, learning to live and so much more. The descriptions of emotions and experiences were both beautiful and heartrending. The artistic use of words and formatting through the book only added to the power of this incredible book.
The final pages gave me goosebumps and hope.
