This is the second of the "International Short Stories" books, and its...definitely not as good as the first, the American version. The American version included plenty of works which are considered to be modern classics, so the anthologist did a good job there. All the stories in this anthology, I have never heard of, and I don't think there's a one that I rated above two stars. They're just...forgettable, at best, and irritating, at worst.
Now, this story is in the public domain, so you can find it free online, reducing your investment to just the time of reading or listening. But, honestly, I kind of wish I hadn't listened to the Librivox version. There's only a few stories that showed up in my other anthologies, and if I'd just listened to those, I'd have been happier.
