It started off dark but it ended in a really light tone. I enjoyed it, even though some aspects might be unrealistic

pues será psicópata o no pero zane logró que en todo el libro no confiara en él, incluso ahora que lo terminé sigo sin confiar en él jajdjsja

I'm definitely going to follow this author. The story is short but intense. Theres tension almost until the end. I usually don't like when theres a secret from one of the characters and the reader doesn't know it, but here it is very well taken and it doesn't make me nervous not knowing it, basically because the story is not very long and it is discovered soon.
So overall I really liked the story and will definitely read more from the author.

Ploughed through his book in a day and a half. The premise was great, the two main characters were such contrasts but there were underlying contradictions to them both that made them both very conflicting men.

There were times when I thought Quinn was being very naive with his candor and behaviour towards a murderer in prison, but given his youth and his eagerness to continue the study and his work, it allowed me to suspend a lot of my disbelief.

It was, dare I say it, cozy at times, with an intimate setting that could've almost been adapted into a play. I wish the subplot of Zane's criminal history didn't seem like such an afterthought (or rather, that the twist hadn't been discarded and explained away so easily) but that didn't stop me from enjoy what was a tense and well-built up relationship between the two men.

Can't wait to read more of Collins' work!

This was really good! I think I enjoyed this more than the author's other work "the Freshman", because I could see a genuine connection between Quinn and Zane. I liked their banter when theywere having their sessions. I can see some people not enjoying where the story is going towards the end if you wanted a genuinely dark story, but I quite liked it!
