I still feel a little lost by this book and can’t decide if that is good or bad.
This book fell so incredibly flat. Every time the main character could have helped herself she chose to do the complete wrong thing. Every. Time. I know dumb decisions make good stories but not every decision can be a bad one.
The writing style seemed incredibly split between a classic and modern novel it was incredibly confusing. Also what was the point of them mentioning her tinder hookups every other chapter and describing them in detail? I skipped over the sex at a certain point because the common theme was it added nothin to the actual plot.
The ending leaves a lot to be desired I feel like I was robbed of at least 10-20 more pages. There were two storylines present that had great potential to be terrifying and the author followed neither of those leads to the end.
