3.5⭐️ I really loved the first two books and maybe it’s because it’s been a while since I read them but didn’t hit as much as those for me. I was definitely entertained and it’s a fun easy read but I wasn’t overall underwhelmed compared to how much I remembered loving the first 2

Well that took a turn. So we're getting to know Viper and Rathe better while in Faerie. Fear his usual cinnamon roll self and Dom, Dom was unexpected but welcome. Arawyn is growing into herself which is nice to see but then of course it all goes pear shaped cause why not. Rathe's dad is a total malicious psycho. The courts have devolved into something evil and the land is dying. Poor Arawyn has her work cut out for her and by the end of the book was has arrived.
This was a great read. A bit slower because we get to see more character development and background which answered several questions. I think the story moved along nicely and set up the next book nicely and I'm looking forward to it.

Como comecei o livro achando que era o último da série, me frustrei demais com o pacing... achei o começo muito lento e fiquei irritada com o tempo perdido em detalhes sem importância nenhuma pro grande esquema das coisas.
Mas as autoras conseguiram me convencer a aceitar o Dom no HR.
Várias decisões tomadas me deixaram bamboozled! Todo mundo concordando em uma direção de ação e de repente a gente ia pro lado oposto, sem nenhuma recompensa real. Mas estou animada pro próximo livro (espero que seja o último) e ver como tudo será resolvido.

How does one even begin to write such an adequate review for such an impeccable story? I was so captivated by every word.
Everything that happens in this amazing realm shed's light on the horrors that Arawyn's mates had to endure. The devastation and destruction that was caused by one selfish crazed individual becomes apparent.
I was amazed at everyone's self control. Through the unmistakable darkness there is light.
I am waiting on tenterhooks for the next book to learn what happens to my dragon
