The novella was really good! I enjoyed the short stories being conveyed in each chapter, and the full picture that you get more of by the end. We always love some non-binary rep that is there, but not shoehorned in and makes up all of a character's personality. While the first chapter is a bit slow, by the end of it, I was entranced. Quick, delicious afternoon read. No clue how the possible next novellas/books will go from here, but this one was plenty enjoyable as a standalone.
