Hirka is my favorite female character ever. No one can top her.

It's 11:26 pm and I should go to bed, not write reviews, but here are my general (slightly sleep-deprived) thoughts after finishing this series for the fourth time in four? five? years:
-all the characters in this whole series are unique. Not two of them have the same personality. And they all have both good and bad sides, and you love every single one of them even though some of them are horrible people, and it's great.
-the ending has every possibility to be super fucking confusing, but it's actually not, so cred to the author for that.
-worldbuilding? Amazing. Among the best I've ever seen. Almost Brandon Sanderson level.
-the language doesn't make me go "wow", but there are some real good sentences
Spoilerwhen rime says that he is Rime An-Elderin and if he's anything else, he's Hirka's? When I tell you I cried

-all the themes and messages are just so good
-this is one of my absolute favorite series, it's unbelievable and I love it so much

A fantastic trilogy. The second book wasn’t my favorite but the first and third were magnificent. Highly recommend this series!!!

Først og fremst, alt for kort! Litt vanskelig å kose meg så mye som jeg ville gjort ellers, når jeg vet at det er slutten på eventyret.

I would read another book of this, but I'm also glad it has an ending point where it does.

It was really interesting to watch Hirka grow as a character and what she went through to pull of what she does.

I also appreciate that things were never really black and white, but there was still right and wrong.

A solid conclusion of a very good series.

I appreciated Hirka's development and it's crazy how different she was compared to the first book - she becomes stronger, both in a physical and mental way, and this positively impacted on my reading experience.
