It was so good but then the ending just felt so rushed. Like she agreed to give up her entire career and company without a second thought, seemed to be best friends with her ex despite the scandal ?

Short and no space whatsoever for character development. The FMC just follows allow to whatever the MMC has to say - fetch, doggie! Smut is just below decent, mostly because there is no personality in either of these characters. Minor world-building and you can finish it in one sitting so you don’t hate yourself for dragging it out and are relieved that it’s over.

A random scroll on my instagram lead me to this sweet, fluffy read on this long boring day.

Considering what happened to Louis XVI and his family (& the fact that the constitutional monarchy still has the monarchy); I couldn't take this book seriously but I enjoyed it.
