I want to start this review by saying that it was so much better than the Shatter me series, which had its ups and downs. The author has clearly grown in the meantine and while this story doesn't seem very polished, it's still a big improvement. 
The combat scenes were described so much better. They weren't boring to read compared to the ones in the shatter me series. 
This book actually made me want to read the next volume and be sad that I can't because it's not released yet. 
One thing that I didn't like was the pacing. The book felt so slow. I felt like in the first 40% of the book nothing much happened. But other than that I don't have any other complaints.

I don't know how to feel about this book. I loved james. I have mixed feeling about Rosabelle. I don't feel any chemistry Between james and rosebelle.


I misse my family Aaron(my man), Juliette, kenji. Meeting them again was nostalgic. Aaron warner still give me butterflies.
