THE RETURN OF WARNETTE IS SOMETHING THAT CAN ACTUALLY BE SO PERSONAL. no but actually as much as i loved seeing the old characters and thought their roles and interactions were perfect, i also adored james and rosabelle and their story. james’ characterization was so perfect and you could see the influence of all the characters that we know raised him. and rosabelle’s story was so heartbreaking that you can’t help but root for her and feel agonized over her situation. i can’t wait to read what happens next! tahereh can do no wrong and this is no exception. it didn’t feel like a cheap spin off just for money or because she had nothing else to write but actually a natural and realistic continuation of the story
