Look. I like a good detective story. But this is like Robert Langdon wish fulfillment every woman is super hot and just can’t stay away from him. One per book. Ha. But like the crime was… beyond belief. No. I do not believe.

Jack Reacher series. Currently 8th book in storyline chronological order. (4th book is published date order.) Unique storyline that kept me trying to figure out the “how” until close to the end. Also filled in a lot of the empty space in Reacher’s story. Since this was an audiobook I have to say that the narrator, IMO, had an awful “female” voice. There were several female characters that sounded identical, older than they were written as and read with a tone that would become oddly nasal/pinched & perhaps he was trying to add some type of East Coast accent? Not sure how to describe it but there were numerous times I had to rewind because the voice was so distracting that I was focused on it and didn’t hear what he was saying, or I couldn’t determine who was speaking. The male voices were good. This was a great Reacher story that really hooked me, but I’d recommend reading a print version if the audiobook available is narrated by Jonathan McClain.

Better. Though Reacher’s reaction to Lamar seemed out of proportion and Vice Versa. Either way this was a more solid plot and story.

Lots of twists and mis-direction in this one.

Kinda weak, but I slurped it down anyway!

Another in the Jack Reacher series that currently has me addicted.
This time Reacher is 'blacmailed' into helping the FBI solve a series of bizarre murders. With the usual twists, turns and humour Reacher deals with the blackmail threat and eventually solves the crime. I had an inkling of the methodology of the crime but hadn't guessed who the murderer was. Great story.
Next book here I come...

-Well written and compelling storyline
-Great plot twists
-The plot twist was unexpected
-The conclusion was well explained

Good Thriller. 4 Stars. Would read again.

Page turner!
