The characters and the idea of the story were so compelling. I really really REALLY wanted to like it. Overall though I just couldn’t get into the writing style. The info-dumping was constant, and I couldn’t tell what perspective she wanted to write it in. She used the characters names so much that it felt like I was reading a script and not a book. It’s sad bc I really wanted to see how their love story blossomed. Their tension was immaculate. I just was finding any excuse to not read, and that isn’t like me.

It should be a crime to end a book on a cliffhanger

This was OK. I liked the premise alot! Lucia seemed to not grow or learn at all in this book though. Or she would have a big realization then go right back to how she was before...maybe it will get better I'm book 2.
