I liked this one, but the characters just didn't connect with me in this book. Dallas and Hannah didn't have that spark that most of the couples have.

The story was ok, but not super great either. Missing treasure and a shady underground gang was just ok.

Looking forward to the next though, as I do enjoy the Krewe books.

My FAVORITE Krewe book I’ve read in a while! This was a Bone Island mash up and I loved every single second. Bone Island is my favorite of her books and I think about the series often, so it was fun to be back in that world. I love when HG does Key West settings, it’s so atmospheric. The mystery was twisty and I was shocked at almost every turn. And Dallas and Hannah had so much chemistry. I loved Dallas and I especially loved how the narrator did the voices/inflections for him. Overall a knockout for the series.

Boring. I don't know if I have read too many of this type of book but I just couldn't care less about the characters or the plot. I didn't hate it I just couldn't bring myself to care enough to finish it ( and I forced myself to read past half way before giving up.)

3...New tier and yes I received a little taste of the past with Kelsey and Logan joining in this case...Though how is this the first novel where cameras weren't set up EVERYWHERE and at least 4 other Krewe members join...AND another lost treasure...Yeesh! And ANOTHER new team? Getting old!! And Unfortunately my favorite Detective Series is based on A character named Dallas...So for me there can only be one!! And The Wolf as a bad guy name? Some originality please...I think James Patterson had A Big Bad Wolf...

Another fantastic book! Loved the mystery, and how they had the Los Lobos gang and yeah, really fantastic book! Can't wait to read more!

Oy, this book sucked. I don't know if it's because I'm not from the Keys. I just couldn't feel it. The characters hit me as whiny and the plot just didn't mesh together. Oh well, off to the next book.

This is a really fun romantic suspense. I really enjoyed the setting and how well fleshed out the characters (ghost or otherwise) were. The addition of the ghost tours was interesting. My only flaw was that the romance developed a little to fast for my taste but that can be easily overlooked.
