The story was rich, opulent, hot but I hated the main character so much. Even with all the reasoning, I just couldn’t get behind her actions. The story was quick and easy to read.

Emezi loves a messy and scandalous story. In this case, it makes for an easy hot girl summer read. I defo missed some of that truly magical writing and world-building that I'm used to with Emezi, still appreciate their range of writing and how they're having fun with it.
