I'm not entirely sure what I read in this book. While Josh Brolin seems to have had an adventurous and traumatic life, it was hard to follow with all the time jumps.

I hope his next memoir is more cohesive.

I enjoy Brolin's writing style and how the timeline of his memoir jumps around through time. As memories tumble out. He just goes out of his way to write about how rough, tough, and unlikable he is. It got, a bit repeating.

His effort to be a good writer was lost on me. Chaotic drivel about his crazy life. Sad. But I like his voice.
