Emotional damage.

The start was a little rocky, felt like it took a few chapters to get into the flow of things, but once it did I was hooked. I know Darius is an alpha-hole but you also understand where he’s coming from and how things look from his view. And Rhea… praying for her to have a big bed with a cold pillow and wake up after a good nights rest to a steaming cup of coffee. Praying for you girl

3.5 rounded up. As a dark fantasy it’s pretty damn good. As a dark romance? Absolutely not. There is no way you could convince me that these two end up together. Really what the fuck? Great world building and I enjoyed the storyline. It stayed interesting and was very hard to put down. Could have been a 5 star book if Darius literally never spoke or maybe didn’t even exist? Shout out to the author for somehow making me nauseous after every spicy scene. Thanks for that. Also what happens on page 438 was uncalled for. I’m just sitting here pissed about it. *edit to add that apparently the version I read has more pages. Idk what page it will be for you.
