Was a little to fast for me. I wouldn't have minded a couple more chapters.

Really enjoyed it. I only didn't like the ending. And I wish the relationship between Carley and Mr Murphy had been developed more. The writing was pretty good other than the way everyone talked. It just felt odd sometimes

I really enjoined this book! It is definitely one of my favorites I’ve read this year! ( thats saying a lot to me bc i read cinder, but Cinder still my favorite ) The Emotions were everywhere and i soaked it up like a sponge! More drama the better. I really did cry a little when Carly remembered what happened that night with her mother and Dennis. The ending made me wish there was a little epilogue though.

For all the kids who don't understand The Giving Tree. I'm sure they can find more than one thing in common with Carley.

If you don’t cry, you don’t have a heart. Enough said.

This was a really quick read. I enjoyed it pretty well, but man that ending! It pretty much put me off ever even thinking about being a foster parent. How do you bring someone into your life like that and just have to let them go back to someone who hurt them? Ugh. Terrible!
