On many different occasions and for many different reasons, Court has broken me. More revelations that have just pressed on my heart and given hope in equal measure. I can’t decide if the wins outweigh the losses because let me tell you, the losses HURT! While this is a magical world and you truly never know the bounds of what’s possible, Tracy is certainly not afraid to kill people off. Which means, I have no clue who might survive this series, but there is no doubt that I am sticking around to find out!

Here is what we were waiting for, I couldn't give it 5 stars because it annoyed me so hard right at the end. 11 kids taking on a 10k person army like I get this is a fantasy book but can we make it a tiny more realistic! I like the additional story lines here and all the new things that we got to learn, with the twin gods and how that all unfolds for our team. Overall good book but the draining of powers and then Grace going with her demi-god powers then like girl you should have pulled those out sooner and you are pissing me off. Any whose onto the next

DNF at about 60%. I just can’t anymore. Even knowing what happened during those 4 missing months is not worth it anymore. 

The amount of times Grace had a panic attack was staggering. And the number of stupid decisions and bickering has grown to an unbearable amount. I could barely finish the book, having switched to the audio around 30% mark. The audio though was also at times difficult to follow as some characters were insufferable even more by giving them voice and their bratty attitude. While reading I, at least, could’ve avoided that irritation. Ugh. This is one of those times where the books are getting progressively worse but you already invested so much time that you just have to know how it all ends. But there are so many books worth much more of my time that I decide to stop.

Not going to lie the beginning and middle was slow to me and I almost didn't want to finish it but it picked up and then I really enjoyed the ending
