Hudson and Grace forevvvveerrrrrr!!!
Anyways, I put this book down for MONTHS when I was about 65% of the way through because I literally could not handle the reader anxiety. It leaked into regular life. It was so intense in this book!! So glad I finally worked up the courage to finish it!

Whoops! I read Court before Covet. I’ll have to go back and read Covet next. I was wondering where that time in the story was…

Overall, this story was well written. I feel like Grace has matured significantly, as has the writing style. I’m curious what happens with Sirus and Deliah. Where did the Bloodletter and Alister go? I have many more questions, but I’m sure they’ll be answered in Charm.

Excuse me while loop back to Book 3!

These books are very long and repetitive. The characters have an extremely annoying amount of inner dialogue- which may be related to the more YA vibe, but it’s obnoxious at times especially considering the length of the books. Yet I keep reading

Yeah so I won't continue after this book. Which is a bummer, seeing how the last one left me all emotionally involved.
Court, sadly, pushed me to annoyance.
It's too much. Too many revelations, too many 'that's it, I've had enough, I'm not that person anymore, it ends here' moments, and frankly too many side characters in situations where they had no purpose.
I had the feeling that at some point the character traits got tangled up, since some of the main figures suddenly felt off, compared to the previous books.
The plot in itself is still good in my opinion. I just wish it hadn't felt as rushed and, at times, random.
Still love Hudson, though and his POV chapters, albeit rare, were probably my favourite.

(Side note: I'm all for shorter chapters but some of them felt too short, which I think might have added to the feeling of it being rushed. 6 chapters per book as in Crave might not have been enough, but up to 150 definitely feels like too much - but that is very much just my subjective take on the matter!)

I still can see people being invested and loving this. However, I can't deny that I'm a bit disappointed now...

I've enjoyed the series so far but I'm just not that interested in this book. It's getting very repetitive and I feel like it's going nowhere. Might pick it up later sometime..
