It was ssooooo long! The plot was good but the internal chatter of the MFC killed me. I wanted to love it. And I did love parts of it. But good grief it could’ve been half the length!

Tracy Wolff never let’s us down! One of my favourite in the series, especially because she added Izzy a character which I honestly always somehow added in my mind in the earlier books. It’s like Tracy is mind reading. I’m still exited for the next books and I want more from Izzy and please from Jaxon and Flint!

I loved this series! Books 2&4 were my favorite tho. So much action, especially in the 4th book!

I think the biggest highlight of the 4th book in this series is the cast! I absolutely loved the secondary characters and their inclusion throughout the book. Grace also just gets better with each book, however, her inner monologue can still get annoying but maybe that’s just an intentional character flaw of hers

To sum it up: Everyone is already tired from the last battle, but there’s already another war coming. Trial after trial comes for this group to conquer. Flint is angry. Jaxon is weird. Hudson is closed off. Grace needs to discover more about who she is. Grace finds the army stuck in time wow crazy. Grace is a demigod. Her parents gave her tea to suppress her vampire. Cyrus has a demigod daughter. Grace can stop time. Cyrus wants to be a god. Macy’s character growth is insane. Romance is heightened in this book. We find Macy’s mom wow. The young boy inside the monster broke my heart.

This might be the best book in the series so far. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I like that these books pick up right where we left off in the previous one. The setting of every situation is so detailed and I love it. I can picture it in my head.

Gosh Grace is so powerful. I mean a gargoyle-goddess-witch?! I want to know what Grace remembers. What happened when she was frozen in time with Hudson?!

My only real problem with this book is the difficulty of following like 17 different storylines. I mean we use a crap ton of pages to cover a time span of basically a week.

Everyone is happy and I am pissed off. Also, Grace got her memories from when she was frozen in between books one and two, so I guess that's where book 5 starts. Which means we'll be back to the Hudson and Grace show starring emotional angst and yearning, no one wanted, very soon.
Also, yes Rosalyn, you were right; I need a life.
