This book was both badly written. The characters were shallow - both in terms of depth, and in terms of their personalities. The romance was haphazard. The plot was choppy at parts, and it was just not an exciting read.

Perhaps even 2.5...I did not really like any of the characters.

Family dysfunction.. loads of secrets.. a lot of self loathing and woo is me.. therapy definitely advised..

Charlotte and her three children go on a cruise together and find out some shocking and not so shocking secrets about each other and their past.

This is a quick read that pulls you in from the beginning- if you are looking for a book to read in one sitting on a rainy day without interruption this is your book. But I warn you - there will be lot of unanswered questions by the time you finished reading.

This book has such potential! Honestly though it fell flat. It doesn’t really feel like anything was resolved or fixed. All the characters still had their issues and didn’t open up like they were dying too. This story just missed the mark big time.
