the book really immerses you, allowing you to feel the adrenaline of Katniss in the Games with her. Classic for a reason and it’s intense in a good way.

I will forever hold this series so close in my heart. The characters are just so complex and well written, Katniss is so continually relatable and lovable, and Peeta is literally perfect in every possible way. It’s interesting how their relationship is so different when they first get reaped, in the capitol it’s almost like the start of an enemies to lovers. I love this series so so much, but my fav book is the second one so I’m excited to re read.

It's definitely a dystopian book I recommend. It really captured me when it's interesting theme of kids going to this game where they have to kill each other in order to survive. It questions morality which is something that the world today is dealing with. The book captures what it was advertised as, a tense, challenging and dark book. Overall, a book I HIGHLY recommend
