Read For
✓ Strong FMC
✓ Slight Cliffhanger Ending
✓ Unique Plot for its Publication Year
✓ Very Similar to the Movie Adaptation

Definitely went into this expecting more.  While I almost DNF’d it at 9% I kept going.  It was nearly identical to the movie only a few parts changed but ultimately it was an okay book.  I think I would have liked it more when I was a teenager rather than now but in the end I listened to the audiobook (in x3) in one go of it while I cleaned my house so it kept me busy entertained enough.

Perdóname, Suzanne Collins por juzgar tu libro de manera estúpida cuando se volvió popular entre el 2013 y 2014. I wasn't familiar with your game

There is a reason The Hunger Games launched a thousand YA dystopian knock offs. This novel doesn't just hold up, it is outstanding. Suzanne Collins' control of limited first person and indirect characterisation is outstanding.
