I tend not to read overly popular books for fear it won't live up to my expectations but I am so glad I did. Listening to Tatiana Maslany really brought Katniss to life in a new way. It was well written and still exciting even after seeing the films many times. Highly recommend. I am definitely going to listen to the next few books in the series and may even re-read in the future (a rare occurrence for me)

I first read this book in highschool before the movie adaptation came out. Lots of details that I missed and glad that reading it again showed my growth. 

Standing up against the oppressive system takes many forms and what drives it is love.
