Absolutely flew through this book. Great story-telling. I loved how it brought back a lot of details from book 1 and united previous narratives in a strong way. The Crakers are such a good plot point, and I missed them in book 2. Oryx and Crake is still the best in the series, but this one lines up as #2

I enjoyed the book. It did tie up some loose ends which was satisfying. Yet the book felt like an extended epilogue to the first two books rather than a full fledged novel. Read it if you are a fan of Oryx or Flood, but don't expect the same depth of world and story.

Hmmm. I didn't devour this one as quickly as the first two; it didn't keep pulling at me in the same way. Throughout, it often felt like Atwood was just explaining something from the first two books, but not in the same new and amazingly creative ways that Year of the Flood added to Oryx and Crake. And, in the end, I didn't feel like it explained quite enough. But, there were some wonderful spots, including some that made me laugh out loud (please stop singing).

I'm so glad I stuck with this series after feeling...not disappointed exactly, just underwhelmed by O&C and to an extent YotF (but as others have correctly pointed out, even an underwhelming Atwood story is still amazing). MaddAddam was my favorite by far. Toby and Zeb interested me far more than any of the other characters in the series, and this book was all about them. Very beautiful and satisfying end to a long, complex story.
