Loved the first two books, but this one was extremely disappointing.

I feel like most of the mysteries were not resolved, the most interesting characters are the least explored (like Adam One, or Crake) not even indirectly, and most of the important events are retold afterwards instead of written at the moment of the action. That takes you out of the scene and makes it fall extremely flat.

So disappointed that this is the conclusion of the series.

Really enjoyed this third book of the trilogy. Where the first two covered the time before and during the waterless flood, this one moved forward (along with continuing to fill in the background and enlarge the cast of characters. The Pig Ones were a positive development in this one. Also having less Jimmy was an improvement.

Please don't sing yet.

I love how this final book in the series tied all the ends together, and how the characters' individual stories intertwined. I had to get used to the writing format of the stories as Toby told the, but having finished the book now can say that this really grew on me.

This was by far the most visionary book of the series, even more imaginative and funny than parts one and two. Had me chuckling out loud a few times. The note on the back of the book ("Welcome to the outrageous imagination of Margaret Atwood") about sums it all up!
