Loved the first two books, but this one was extremely disappointing. 

I feel like most of the mysteries were not resolved, the most interesting characters are the least explored (like Adam One, or Crake) not even indirectly, and most of the important events are retold afterwards instead of written at the moment of the action. That takes you out of the scene and makes it fall extremely flat.

So disappointed that this is the conclusion of the series.

Most of the book- yay back story
The last 100- FUCKKKKK crying gently
the last 20 pages- yay happy happy living in the woods in peace :D
The last 3 pages- sobbing

‘Why is it always such a surprise? thinks Toby. The moon. Even though we know it's coming. Every time we see it, It makes us pause, and hush.’

‘’Come into the forest with me’, he says, grinning like a fairytale wolf holding out his paw of a hand. So of course she takes it and forgives him everything.’

‘It was a lot of fun watching the kid soak it all up, and who was to foresee the consequences? Which is usually the way with fun.’
