Very cool! I enjoyed the concept, I fully expected to hate Nick but I didn't, and I love the twins and Secret Skull. Jules Verne is also a surprising delight, as is the inclusion of Edgar Allan Poe references.

This was really fun! It reminded me of the graphic novel Saga (beyond the fact that Fiona Staples does the art). I use Saga as a measuring system of sorts. As in, did I enjoy it as much as I enjoyed Saga? Usually the answer is no, but if it is a close second that means it is a win in my book. The art was great because Fiona Staples is talented and the story line was fun, interesting, and fast paced. It was highly enjoyable to read and I really wish there were more of this series.
Thanks to FxImagine Magazine, I found this little gem. Fiona Staples illustrations is truly gorgeous. I love her artwork in the[b:Saga, Volume 1|15704307|Saga, Volume 1|Brian K. Vaughan|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1428350405s/15704307.jpg|19113524] series and I love it in this one.
I noticed that her female protagonist tends to be darker than mainstream comics and I'm cool with that. I don't know whether it's in the script or she got leeway as an artist but it's nice seeing all kinds of people represented in the media.
Love all the characters especially the twins. Their way of using their powers is almost the same as the fast twins in Teen Titans. Cute too.

Mystery Society was really fun and light-hearted. I came for the art and stayed for the writing. I do wish though that there were more volumes. The story could have been longer. That is why I am giving it 4/5 stars. If the story could was longer we could have gotten more of the characters' motivations and backstories. The quirky cast of characters make the story fun.
I totally recommend this book to people who want to get into reading graphic novels. It is short and sweet and Fiona Staples' art is marvelous!

Rollicking good fun. Love Fiona Staples art...as usual!
I liked Fiona Staples art on this, I liked some of the character ideas and designs, and remember it being a fun quick read and having potential if it continued, but I also remember it being a bit cheesy and don't remember much about the plot. Probably worth your time if you come across it but not worth seeking out in a hurry.

I loved the characters and Poe's skull sub-plot, but I wish there were more issues. I wanted everything flushed out a little more, and was left with A LOT of unanswered questions. Butt Rockets, tho.
Also, I love Fiona Staples' artwork.
