I love any Casey McQuiston book, but this one takes the cake. A lot of McQuiston’s books feel like they should be YA to me, so it makes since that their YA novel is my favorite. The characters are so perfect and personable—I just want to wrap them up and keep them safe forever. Smith is probably the biggest cutie I’ve ever met. Casey McQuiston—how the hell did you make me fall in love with the football jock??
Also, yet another fantastic reading from Natalie Naudus. She could read me the dictionary and I’d say thank you. I’ve loved all of her narrations.

This was such a frustrating read. I am so glad it's over. I didn't like the characters for being so obsessed with finding Shara. Then we find out that the boys were not obsessed with her and only Chloe was the one haunted by Shara. The group members of "I Kissed Shara Wheeler" are all annoying especially Shara and Chloe. Chloe and Shara's relationship is so toxic that I did not understand why Chloe was so consumed by her and wanted to find Shara. Yes, I know that she actually likes Shara, and also Chloe wanted to be the one who is valedictorian; however, it still did not make sense. Chloe could've ditched Shara and focused on her studies instead, and she would've easily became valedictorian without chasing Shara. Shara is so self-centered and mean. If I were Chloe I wouldn't even bother looking for Shara. By the end of the book, it gotten a tad better. That doesn't mean I'm giving this book a good rating. I enjoyed reading about how all the seniors teamed up to take down the principal, and how they had their own graduation. I also liked Chloe's friends and how they were all caring and supportive of each other. The reason I kept reading is because I wanted to see how it ends. It took me a long time to finish reading because I wasn't particularly enjoying this book. I am glad it's over. Next time if I'm not enjoying a book I'm going to consider not finishing it.

The main characters of Chloe and Shara were hard for me to like, be interested in, or want to follow throughout the book. Wanted more of Smith and Rory's story, maybe from
both of their perspectives. Also, wanted more from the characters of Georgia and Summers relationship. Would have read a story of Chloe's Moms before wanting to read more from the the unlikable, selfish Shara or annoying Chloe.
