The continuation of Zane and Isabelle's story was a long time coming and so worth it. Leave it to Isabelle to get involved with scum like Bram because she can't admit her feelings for Zane, and it nearly costs Isabelle her life. Tegan and Reid were a happy surprise that Tegan didn't see coming. Of course it would be Ram that convinces Tegan to stop hiding from Reid and that she had nothing to worry about. Hunter needs to stop wasting time avoiding a real relationship with Quentin when neither one can stay away from the other. Especially in light of how fleeting life could be. Bram totally got what he deserved. I loved the whole Vegas story line and the airplane fun.

My Review: This is a new to me author, and I'm so glad I got the chance to check her out! I loved the paranormal world Kenderson created, not just the creatures that inhabit it, but how their packs/prides/etc work. I'll have to eventually go back and read the first few books to see how it all got started.

There was a lot going on in this book. Despite the description talking only about Zane and Isabelle, other couples are trying to maneuver the complicated shifter daring world right along with them. And I liked reading their story just as much as the main couple. There was a lot of focus on the romance, but the author didn't short us on the drama - there's plenty to go around! The villain was truly evil, and I loved to hate him, which made me that much more eager to keep reading to see whether he would get his comeuppance.
