This book was such a delight! Tilly and Ollie were both such unique and fun characters in and of themselves, and when they were together it was absolutely *chef's kiss*!! The supporting characters of Mona, Amina, Marcus, Micah, Cubby and Darcy all added such complexity and dimension and joy to the story. I really enjoyed the mental health rep in this book. ADHD and Autism had the spotlight but multiple levels of anxiety and mental health journeys were present. As someone who identifies with some of the markers of being on the spectrum I felt safe and seen and enjoyed seeing things I myself have experienced being experienced by these beautiful characters. But I also learned so much and gained so much perspective since I am not exactly ADHD or Autistic --- and it was such a gift to have a window into how those who identify as such may see the world. The travel aspect was so much fun to experience alongside our intrepid travelers without ever having to actually pack my bags ; ) And I am absolutely in love with the nail polish company Ruhe and I so wish it actually existed!! The details, the colors, the range of emotions, the literal and found family relationships, the love story, the mental health rep ---- Mazey Eddings has delivered another absolutely delightful book and I am so grateful I got this opportunity to read an advanced copy!! My thanks to St. Martin's Press, Mazey Eddings, and Netgalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

An adorable and wholesome YA romance, Tilly in Technicolour is a gem of a read.

Not only is it an honest and heartwarming exploration of neurodivergence but also a moving coming-of-age story of the expectations put upon us by ourselves and others. Both Tilly and Oliver's POV's were wonderful to read and I'm so happy we got to see their differing perspectives, struggles and joys.

Mazey Eddings creates characters I whole heartedly adore and Tilly and Oliver now happily sit into that category. This was a lovely, lovely read.

what to expect:

-  adhd rep (fmc)
- autism rep (mmc)
- opposites attract
- european tour
- forced proximity/only one bed
- first love

Adorable! The neurodiverse love story we all need to read this summer.

Okay y’all! We have THINGS to talk about. First off, the autism and ADHD rep in this book is amazing. The author’s way of giving Tilly and Oliver their own voices was simply extraordinary. I loved all of the adventures. I loved the little quicks each character had. I loved the banter they had and the romance that blossomed. How they had massive amounts of respect for one another and their neurodivergence.

My favorite scene was the cuddle part and that’s all I’ll say! This book was overall TOO FREAKING CUTE! I was giggling and blushing a lot.

5/5 stars for travel, neurodivergence, art, and romance!

Tilly has ADHD, and her mother doesn’t know how to handle her. She just doesn’t understand why she doesn’t want to go to college. She doesn’t seem to have a direction in life, and writing for a living? That isn’t a real job.

So when Tilly’s older sister offers to take her on as an intern for the summer for her startup, an organic nail polish company with unusual colors, and whose bottles are biodegradable, she jumps at the chance to tour Europe, rather then she made to feel bad by her mother.

Oliver is the other intern, a photographer, who is autistic.

It is an interesting look into the mind of Tilly and Oliver, as they both narrate the story from their perspectives.Tilly is trying to figure out what she wants to do with her life, and Oliver is trying to figure out Tilly.

It is funny in that communication is the most important part of the relationship, which is the name with most people neurodivergent or not.

Fun book. As someone who is dyslexia, I very much relate to both Oliver and Tilly as they try to understand what is going on around them. The author writes that she is both autistic and has ADHD, so she knows from where she writes.

This book came out on the 15th of August, but I read it as an arc, so thanks to Netgalley for making this available for an honest review.

I LOVED this book. I loved every single world. I related to Tilly's life in so many things. It has to be on of my favorite romance YAs I've had the pleasure of reading. I adore Tilly and Oliver with my heart.

Do you ever wonder what it is like to be someone who has neurodiversity? Then this is definitely the book for you! We see two main characters who struggle with being neuro-diverse in a neuro-typical world and how it can impact everyday activities.

Tilly is sent to do an internship with her older sister Mona who runs a start-up company in Europe. While on this adventure, Tilly is set to work with Oliver who seems out of the ordinary.

I thought the author did a fantastic job characterizing what it is like being a neuro-diverse individual in many ways. The struggle with acceptance, family pressure, and the want/need to be neuro-typical. We see both main characters experience various challenges and ultimately accepting who they are.

This is definitely a fun, romantic read for anyone who is interested in learning more about neurodiversity!- Alyssa C.
