Enjoyed most of the book, but the ending was a bummer. Conflicts were too quickly resolved and the last few chapters just felt so rushed. It was confusing and a disappointing end to an overall great story.

This was a super cute upper-YA romance, and I felt so seen by the wonderful ADHD and autism representation! As an AuDHD person myself, I  highly appreciate how Eddings didn’t shy away from describing both the disabling and the wonderful aspects of both diagnoses, and I loved how naturally they were woven into the plot!

The reason I wasn’t absolutely swept away by this story comes down to the plot feeling a little under-developed and, at times, a little too convenient. While I do recognize that I am not the target audience, I also felt that the writing was a little juvenile, considering that the main characters are 18-19. That being said, I  recommend it for anyone who wants a fun and slightly silly YA rom-com!

I don't usually pick YA books but I loved another book by this author and HAD to pick up another one.

I loved the mental health representation, especially the ADHD representation in this book. I related to so many of Tilly's "tornado" moments. I love Tilly as a character for the way she feels every emotion as it passes through her. She never dims herself for anyone and finds a way forward.

Overall, super heartwarming and sweet book. Personally I thought the pacing was a little quick for my liking, but I understand the appeal of making a slightly shorter YA book.

Tilly in Technicolor is a really sweet coming of age story. The inner dialogue of both Tilly and Ollie remind me of great conversations I’ve had with friends with neurodivergent brains.

I really appreciate the empathetic approach to all the characters and how the plotline with Tilly's family was resolved.

I loved the setting but wish we could’ve seen more of each city they visited. I was exhausted on their behalf with the way they jumped from place to place.

I did find the resolution to be a bit unbelievable, but overall I would recommend this sweet story to teens or YA loving adults.

Thank you to @wednesdaybooks for the #gifted copy. All thoughts are our own.

Maybe it's that it hit close to home, but Tilly had me up in my feels. Her mother is terrible and her sister really isn't all that better. Diagnosing neurodivergence is more common than when I was a child (yay me for getting that big OOOOOOH moment this year), but I connected with Tilly in a pretty big way.
Tilly goes abroad to "learn" how to be a responsible adult from her entrepreneurial sister. Life is a hot mess express and she and buttoned up Oliver clash from the word go.
I was actively disgusted by Tilly's family. It hurts to see anyone treated as less than. I enjoyed the relationship of Tilly and Oliver and greatly appreciate Mazey putting herself on page.
The narrator for Tilly was fun and the one for Oliver… was not. I think this book would have sat better with me faster had I not been listening.
It was a happy surprise to get a finished copy from Wednesday! I’m looking forward to rereading it and loaning it to my kid someday.
Thank you to RB Media for the alc and Wednesday Books for the gifted copy. All thoughts are my own.

I simply adore Mazey Eddings’s stories that are vibrant and inclusive of neurodivergent characters.
Tilly has ADHD. Oliver has Autism. We get a peek inside their beautiful brains, hearing the story from both of their perspectives. They are traveling Europe as interns for Tilly’s sister’s company. Although their brains work so differently, clearly these two are meant to be together.
I laughed so hard at Tilly’s wit and fell in love with Oliver’s love of color, how he sees the world.
This book is closed door, rom-com, and inclusive.
