I adored this book, it was such a cute fluffy read. From the first couple of chapters I knew it was going to be one of those funny, cutesy reads. I loved Tilly and Oliver right from the start, seeing such ‘opposites’ grow closer with each other and them not really noticing to start with.

Tilly’s mum really annoyed throughout and I hated how much she babied her and treated her like a child, so was happy to finally see Tilly stand up for herself. Loved seeing her relationship with her sister get stronger, I loved her little side romance to the story.

Oliver had my heart from the start and seeing how his mind worked and how he sorted through different things with his autism. I loved the relationships he had with his family and best friends. I enjoyed the parts where everyone was together. I enjoyed the story, the travelling aspect, the ended was a little rushed but still enjoyed it.

This sweet YA novel beautifully delves into the experiences of being neurodiverse. Tilly embarks on an exciting summer abroad, interning for her sister Mona's start-up. Oliver, with his profound love for colors and a notable Instagram following, brings a charming and unique perspective to the story.
Their initial encounter, where Tilly humorously runs away, unfolds into a delightful revelation when they realize they are both interning for Mona. The slow-burn romance between these neurodivergent teenagers adds a captivating layer of depth to the narrative, creating a heartwarming journey of connection and personal growth..

Mazey Eddings delivers a great YA debut that captures the essence of neurodiversity with finesse.
I want to thank NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with the eARC in exchange for my honest review.

What really draw my attention to this book in the first place was the representation of two neurodivergent characters as the main characters. I really enjoy reading about different realities in romance and I love books that have true diversity and representation. This book had it all, she gave neurodivergent, she gave non-binary, she gave non-heterosexual relationships and I'm here for it. I believe that it was an enjoyable read for the most part, especially the first half. The only thing that I did not really like was how the end was written. I feel like that last conflict was kind of unnecessary, since it lasted two short chapters so I think it was a bit pointless and I also do not think that there was much of a conflict to begin with. Overall, this was an easy read, enjoyable and I really wish more authors knew how to add diversity to their books the way Mazey Eddings did here.

It was really rude for this author to go inside my teenaged (and today) brain and not even credit me for stealing all my thoughts.

As a neurodivergent person who recently got diagnosed with ADHD, this book hit me so hard. Everything that Tilly experienced has literally been my own experience; I saw so much of myself in Tilly that it made me tear up a lot while reading it.
