Breve, sencilla y delicada.

I found this book really interesting. It's like a sneak peek at the traditions and ways of living of Chinese people during the beginning of the XX century, and how those ideas where challenged as the influence of the Western world became more and more apparent. It was very surreal to see the protagonist discover all these new things that we consider common, but I enjoyed it very much.

I did some research and discovered that the author lived for 40 in China, so what she is writing is actually true. There isn't much of a plot for most of the book, so take that in consideration. I recommend this if you are interested in Chinese traditions.
