I dnfed this book. It really wasn’t that good. I made it to page 221 and just gave up. The first half was interesting. I wish I could finish it bc I want to know what happens but I cannot

4.5 stars. I enjoyed Kya's story. She raised herself in the North Carolina marsh. I would have given the book five stars but I feel the story could have done without the "whodunit" part of the story. So very well written. A lovely read.
