Maybe I’ll pick this back up but the language is very hard to understand. Very slow start didn’t help either.

It took me a little while to get into the story, which I know is odd, since it opens with two separate points in time: a mother leaving her family, and a body found in the marsh. Nevertheless, I found the beginning slow, but I became very invested in the characters, especially the odd protagonist. I'm not sure how I feel about the ending, but I did enjoy the story as a whole.

Honestly it isnt bad and the descriptive writings really well done
Dont really know if i like the ending or not it just doesnt feel concluded?

It took me a while to really get into this book & at first I wasn’t sure what the hype was about. After about halfway I became more interested & then was hooked during the final chapters!
An enjoyable, escalating read :)
