DNF, continuing to clear my shelves. I bought this book before I learned I can’t do books where it’s all “reckons” and “aint’s”. I do want to watch the movie though.

First 100 pages way too painful and slow. But the rest of this book was really engaging and the ending made it well worth the read!

Good story overall. I would say a little slow at some points and a tad predictable. But I did enjoy reading it and the ending had me on the edge of my seat up to the very last few pages.

Outstanding! This was suggested by several people but, I kept putting it off. I thought it was going to be a sappy story but, damn was I wrong! I loved this book. It's a modern day Mockingbird with a twist. Required reading!
