This book wasn't for me. It's still a good story, just not for me. It has lots of sad and tense themes. Besides that, it really wasn't super interesting to me. I didn't really want to keep reading as it bored me. It was kind of confusing to me. Also the characters weren't that likeable for me. It's still a great story, I just don't like how it was written.

this book was a really comprehensive look at addiction and recovery. Zach’s internal dialogue was really engaging and moving. I also liked that all of the characters he meets are so full and well developed. A hope filled book about overcoming obstacles that seem insurmountable.

Wow. This book is such a powerful tribute to healing, connection, love, and resilience. It illustrates so well the power of love and relationships, both therapeutic and not. Every book by Benjamin Alire Sáenz that I read reaffirms why he is my absolute favorite author.
