I have been searching for another series to fall in love with after recently completing the Harry Potter series. There were many fans of this series so I gave it a go. I don't know if I will continue. I did like it but I'm not passionate about the story and I don't know if I care enough about what happens to continue. I might pick up the next book in the future but for now I think I'll try something else out.

Amazing fantasy book. Really unique "magic" system. Was very easy to read, I easily read multiple hours in one session because I just wanted to know what would happen next. Flew through the pages.
I was hoping to get something that remotely tied in with the theology of the cosmere. Maybe the later books will expand on it

Just finished this brick! Ive heard so many people talk about this series. But experiencing it myself is another level. The book is long but the atmosphere is detailed in a way that really pulls you into the story. You really have to dedicate time and effort to reading it, and Ive made so many tabs just so i dont forget who’s who.
