I wasn’t sure where this was going or if I what kind of ending I would even be okay with, but…if anything the ending was what won me over. For most of the book, they were whining about the same things over and over in-between the dark spicy scenes. But then they choose each other and their darkness and run away together and get away with it and that’s what I like to see.
This book could've used another pass through editing, otherwise decently dark enough with all the trauma triggers. I really liked that it ended with

HEA for now, both acknowledging that their lifestyle and choices will eventually get them killed, much like Bonnie & Clyde

3.5 ⭐️ dark stalker romance. The love between remedy and cash is dark and twisted but it fits for them. Definitely dark but I liked it
Cash and Remedy are a couple of friggin psychos.

This was like if ‘Haunting Adeline’ and ‘There Are No Saints’ had a baby.
I gave this a four because the scenes definitely made me feel something and it concerns me that it did. I should probably go to church twice this week.

I will say: bones was my favorite character.

I really enjoyed this book. It is a dark stalker romance and the characters are not the sweet and happy types. They have been through a lot in their lives and someone their darkness complements the others. The spice was really hot. They do a lot of disturbing things to the other so be prepared. Like I said they are dark characters. This is not the darkest book I have read but regardless there are a lot of triggers so check the trigger warning list.
