Audrey, Audrey, Audrey!!!! Why? Why do we have to keep meeting like this? Just when I thought you couldn't get a MMC and darker or more twisted than my love Hitch, you go on and write about Cash! I mean hello, there Sir!! Sir, I'm going to need you to come and get me and bring me to your cement filled room and have your way with me! You through me for a complete loop. I was not expecting Remedy to be twisted like Cash at all! This book gave me life and all the feels. I'm secretly hoping that there will be another book with Cash and Remedy. Hey, a girl can hope right? I can't wait to read more of what is to come from the lovely Audrey Rush

He is a serial killer and a psychopath. He is obsessed with Remedy:
Remedy Basset. What a name. Medicine. Treatment. A substitute for what's needed.
And my favorite little cure.
He stalks her constantly and is a down right peephole.
When I mean peephole, I meant that he hides in her home, and watches her. So much, that now he knows everything about her. Physically and mentally.
He is so obsessed that he debating whether he wants to kill her or frame her from all the kills he did:
She feels so fucking good. Like my first kill. Like an adrenaline rush of almost getting caught. Like the car crash where I finally killed my foster mom after she mo**sted me.
Remedy feels like everything. Like power. Like control. Like need.
The hate sex is this book is stressfully good. But again stressful.
"I own you, Remedy. From the day I first saw you until your very last breath, You. Are. Mine."
Remedy on their other hands, has been through severe childhood trauma. To the point that soft sex isn’t for her.
When Chase comes into the picture, and shows how he can destroy her, she enjoys it so much that she is frustrated with the need to avenge her best friend and kill him:
“One day, I'm going to kill you,"
"I hope you do," he says in a low voice. "And I hope you enjoy it."
Some people may see the MMC as the antihero. Will I am still digesting what I just read. I enjoyed it but this isn’t for everyone. It is a dark romance.
She's even stronger than I expected. Feistier. And being able to say what she wants sexually, knowing that I'm her sworn enemy? The predicament is intriguing as hell.
Cash use his gun and knife and his victims blood on her….:
He's a monster who likes wielding that power over me.
But the worst part?
I like how he controls me. My p* and mind know we're losing, and he's winning.

Love is an obsession to me. Everything is dull, given to the same predictable tendencies, but Remedy isn't.
There's darkness inside of her that draws me in. And I know we'll be the end of each other, but I also know I'll die happy.

The title is what intrigued me to read this book and it wasn’t bad. The plot was a little rushed but I liked the smut.
I read dark romances but not as often as I should so this was a good start for this month of trying to read more of it.

Whoa!!! This book was intense!! I’m giving this book 4 stars.. it was awesome!! Extremely dark so must check trigger warnings! Lots of Murder & stalking. But I guess I just have no triggers so nothing really bothered me about this book.
Main character is Remedy. She’s being stalked by Cash but starts working for him. Over time they find out they’re a lot alike.
The only things I really didn’t care for in this book was I got lost in the story a few times.. and I wanted more development on Remedy & Cash, not just Jenna all the time. But other than that, a fantastic dark romance!!
