Listened to an audio version. There was too much sighing. I will stick to Austen's original.

i was blushing AND giggling. it has a similar feeling to reading pride and prejudice for the first time when youโ€™re fifteen.

I've never read any Austen variation, so this is my first excursion to this genre and it was a great one! Wonderfully written with interpolations from original work and a bit more heat (Victorian style, keep your mind out of the gutter). Very clever and entertaining. Some plot changes were actually welcome, but mostly it follows the plot, with the major change of Elizabeth excepting Darcy's first proposal. It was really worth the read.

โ€œYou have not been sleeping well,โ€ she said softly.
YES THATโ€™S ME ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Itโ€™s 5am, what am I doing with my life ๐Ÿ˜“
That was a good fanfic *clears throat* retelling of Pride and Prejudice though ๐Ÿ˜‚ Watched the movie on a flight yesterday and consequently was in the mood for more today ๐Ÿ˜†

It feels like a crime to give both books the same rating but Iโ€™m sleep & romance deprived ๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐Ÿ’”

โ€œSleep well,โ€ she bid him at the end
