Funny, exciting, and captivating mystery. A sequel that is just as good if not better than the first novel!

Keep these coming! I love these books. The characters are so likable and you root for them to succeed. Enjoyed getting more backstory on Elizabeth. I like that Ibrahim’s story was portrayed in a realistic light.

I’m really loving this series. Took me a little while to remember the characters as I’ve read a few books since the last book. But I really liked how the story carried on, and that Donna, Chris and Bogden will a part of the story. I also really hope that Donna and Bogden end up together on the next book. The fact that there were a couple of twists and that Joyce solved some things herself made things interesting. I also liked the ending, it felt right.

Love to have my first book of the year be one where I'm spending more time with the residents of Cooper's Chase.

The Thursday Murder Club is back at it again with a second addition to this cozy mystery series! In my opinion this book is better than the first with showing us the bond forming between the club members. They truly care for one another and would do anything to help each other out. It is so great to see how close they have become! The pace of the book is also very good, it's a faster pace and doesn't let up until the last pages of the book. I appreciate that! I also like how the Murder Club members have gotten close to other friends they made from the first book, like the two officers and Bogdan. It's great to see development like that! This was a quick little cozy mystery and it was amazing to see the how clever these club members are. And to break up some of the story with Joyce's diary entries is always a delight to see! Such a quirky and interesting character truly one of my favorites in the series! I am looking forward to seeing what the other books have in store and can not wait to see what happens to these clever senior citizens next!
