i'll definitely say there's some stuff in here i'm very excited about, and a spell i've already successfully used! overall a very positive book, but it felt a little performative at times, one too many "you're a boss" "you don't take shit" kind of lines haha. i was looking forward to spells/rituals with a little more guidance but i'll take what it gave and adapt it to fit my own practice better. :) all in all worth the read!

I really enjoyed this book.
The narration was clear and easy to follow, so my attention never wavered.
There were great rituals that I think would be easy to incorporate into my life. And I can't wait to get started on these.
I'm definitely adding a physical copy of this book to my witchy library.
And if you're looking for something new and different to add to daily magical practice, you should give this book a try.

What I love most about Light Magic is the inclusivity. You don’t have to be Wiccan or Pagan to take part in the spells and rituals Basile provides in this grimoire. In fact, she sees herself as more agnostic. This is approachable magic. It’s clear that the efficacy of these incantations and rituals is in the intention behind them. Through this book, Basile promotes and teaches getting comfortable in your own skin and loving it, so that you can go forth and do good in the world. Most of the magic in the book is earth based which is why it can be translated into any lifestyle if your mind is open.

I also love the construction of the book, it’s a little on the smaller side, but much bigger than pocket size, with no dust jacket but a beautiful, durable cover. Well done! 5/5

Very basic spells, many really just psychological in nature. Not my taste.

Very apt book for current times. This is a practical guide for tired witches who are overwhelmed. I think a lot of the rituals can be used by non-witches too. Lots of journaling, grounding, and meditation-based practices. Basile's writing is kind and straightforward, which I quite like. Plus she avoids the love and light bullshit, acknowledging that there is no light without shadow.
