Honestly, I didn’t enjoy Canon and Neevah’s connection until after the hospital scene. Before that, it felt like more of a sexual attraction. Yes, the chemistry was undeniable but I kept wanting more of an emotional connection. I wanted to feel that deep connection ... Ms. Ryan said hold on, I got you. And she delivered, left no crumbs
Everything I was hoping for from their connection hit me all at once, and it was amazing. She gave us intimacy that felt earned, layered with pain, purpose, and healing. You watch their love grow into something beautiful. From that moment on, their relationship felt real It turned the whole book around for me. Before that? It was getting a 3 😂
